Most people new to Crystal Reports are leary to build subreports. They've heard how great they are but don't really know how to build and use them. In reality a subreport is nothing more than a second report embedded into the first report. One of the easiest ways to create a subreport is to simply build a report, get it just perfect and then later insert it using the Insert/Subreport menu option. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is often a link between the main and subreport. That may be they have the job in common or a vendor or whatever. Just like you link two tables together you link the subreport to only pull data related to some field or formula in the main report.
