I'm almost embarrassed to say I didn't know until recently how easily I could enlarge or shrink the Crystal Reports Design and Preview screens.
Design Reports with Ease
Resize your Crystal Reports screens to the exact size you want with ease.
Scroll to the size that fits your needs
Recently I was building a SQL view using Microsoft SSMS SQL Studio Management Services. Somewhere along the way I accidentally made the text on my screen super large. To the point I could only see one work per row. I spent hours trying to figure out how to shrink the text size to a management size. Days later I learned that if I just held down the Control (Ctrl) key with my left hand and using the mouse in my right hand I rolled the scroll wheel on top of the mouse I could make the text on the SQL design screen the exact size I wanted. Though embarrassed that I did not know that trick already and that I had spent so much time trying to fix my issue, I was still thrilled with this trick. It only took a few moments to realize that this same trick worked in Crystal Reports. Whether in Design or Preview mode, you can enlarge or shrink the screen size to the exact size you want. No more fumbling for the little sizer slider at the bottom right of your screen or going to the view menu to resize.
This little trick has been a time saver for sure and I'm equally embarrassed to say I love it, after all its so easy. I've gone on to find out this same trick works in Excel, Word, Outlook and many more programs.
Go ahead give it a try. I promise you will be as hooked as I am.
